Young Scholar flash talks & Prizes

We invited graduate student, post-doctoral fellows, and junior assistant professor to submit for one of the flash talk sessions and notified selected flashtalks by middle of September. Submission deadline was August 31, 11 PM EST.

At the conference we announcing the winners of the top 3 flash talks! The best flash talk submission will receive $100 Amazon gift card. And second and third place will receive $50 Amazon gift card.

Flash talks are 5-minute, stand-alone oral presentations (4-5 slides). The goal of a flash talk is to present a summary of your work very quickly. Accepted talks will be combined into 45-minute session featuring 6 flash talks. Submissions must include (a) names and contact information for all authors, (b) presentation title, and (c) an abstract of no more than 150 words describing the rationale, methods, results, and implications of the work to be presented. Data collection must be complete prior to submission. If accepted for presentation, we will send guidelines for creating and delivering a successful flash talk.
